We are searching for a Quality Assurance Engineer with expertise in Robot Framework who can devise strategies and build automatic tests to catch defects and increase the overall quality of the software.
Responsibilities:
- Devising strategies and building automatic tests to catch defects and increase the overall quality of the software.
- Discussing problems and their solutions with users and/or clients, in functional terms.
- Identifying critical areas in the software and drawing up test plans to reduce risks.
- Thinking incrementally and iteratively, always in line with the defined vision.
- Defining simple and actionable solutions.
- Expressing ideas clearly and assertively, both orally and in writing.
- Learning new software practices, techniques, and technologies.
Requirements:
- A programmer with Python experience, test automation (QA) experience, and ability to train others in Python/testing.
- +3 years experience in building and implementing automated tests.
- Solid knowledge of test-driven software development techniques (TDD/BDD).
- Solid knowledge of object-oriented programming or functional programming.
- Previous experience with automation frameworks.
- Knowledge of: Robot framework; TDD/Gherkin syntax; REST APIs.
- Passionate about finding processes and solutions to problems.
- Believes in the idea that "to innovate is to achieve".
