We are seeking an accomplished Senior Business Travel Consultant to join our esteemed partner's team in Portugal. This role presents an exciting opportunity to work with a cutting-edge corporate card and expense management company.
About the Role:
- The ideal candidate will provide expert-level support to customers through various communication channels.
- Responsibilities will include staying updated on relevant service provider information, destinations, and systems.
- Candidates must be able to evaluate customer needs quickly and efficiently.
- Accurate processing of bookings for accommodations, transportation, and travel services is essential.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently to resolve issues are also required.
Key Requirements:
- Native/fluent English (C1) both orally and in writing.
- 5+ years of experience in a travel consultant role, with expertise in air, rail, and accommodations bookings.
- 3+ years of experience using GDS (Sabre, Amadeus, or Galileo) – both required.
- Additional language skills in French, German, Spanish, or Italian are advantageous.
- Experience in contact center or customer-facing roles.
- Proficiency in using tools like Gmail, Zendesk, Slack, and Salesforce.
- Flexibility to work rotating shifts, Monday to Sunday, between 7 AM and 11 PM.
- Strong multitasking abilities, quick problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently to resolve issues.
- Empathy, professionalism, excellent verbal and written communication skills.
