The AP Team Lead position is responsible for ensuring timely and accurate processing of supplier invoices for payment according to SLAs and GKN policies.
This involves leading a team of functional specialists, building strong relationships with local teams and broader GKN Automotive organization, and ensuring operational process delivery.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
The ideal candidate will be responsible for achieving the following KPIs:
- Accurate and on-time handling of incoming invoice volumes
- Effective reconciliation of accounts payable totals to general ledger
- Successful coordination of month-end closing activities
Requirements
The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience in accounting, preferably within a GBS or shared services environment. They should possess strong financial, analytical, and communication skills, as well as a good understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles and practices.
