Job Description

The Opportunity

We are seeking a seasoned professional to lead our innovation practice at EY Portugal. As Head of Transformational Change, you will play a key role in driving transformational change within our organization.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Create and lead the innovation practice at EY Portugal, defining and implementing the strategy, vision, and objectives.
  • Lead the innovation practice day-to-day activities, supervising and/or participating in the creation of world-class experiences that inspire our clients for transformational agendas.
  • Guide the co-creation of new solutions with clients & EYers applying innovation methodologies (e.g., design thinking).
  • Develop an innovation hub to centralize, structure and create an innovation ecosystem at EY Portugal.
  • Identify and develop relationships with potential partners for the innovation practice.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience working with innovation and 7+ years of experience in management positions.
  • Proven track record on leading innovation initiatives in the past and has a deep understanding of innovation methodologies, such as design thinking, agile, and lean startup.
  • Strong business acumen and a demonstrated ability to understand and navigate complex business challenges.
  • Experience in collaborating and co-creating with clients, industry experts, academia, and other key players in the innovation ecosystem.
  • Strong project management skills and a proven ability to successfully execute complex initiatives from conception to completion.
  • Leadership and communication skills, being able to manage and coordinate multidisciplinary teams.
  • Able to navigate and facilitate discussions across multiple sectors & business practices.
  • Full Portuguese and English proficiency.
  • Able to work in Portugal and abroad.
