About the Role
- Design and develop high-performance backend services for blockchain data extraction using Golang;
- Create and optimize data pipelines to extract on-chain data from various blockchain ecosystems;
- Elevate data delivery speed by leveraging microservices architecture and event-driven systems;
- Collaborate with data engineers to integrate blockchain data pipelines into Kaiko's existing infrastructure;
- Work with blockchain engineers to design efficient data retrieval and processing mechanisms;
- Develop automation tools and frameworks for data ingestion, validation, and processing;
- Guarantee scalability and reliability of blockchain data collection systems to accommodate emerging blockchains;
- Familiarize yourself with Solana, Ethereum, and other blockchain networks' architecture and data structures;
- Participate in infrastructural improvements using Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure);
- Engage in technical discussions, architectural reviews, and code quality assurance;
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in backend engineering with a strong focus on Golang development;
- Proven expertise in microservices architecture and event-driven systems;
- Hands-on experience with blockchain data extraction, processing, and distribution;
- In-depth understanding of blockchain mechanisms, consensus algorithms, and decentralized protocols;
- Advanced knowledge of on-chain data structures and blockchain interaction;
- Proficiency in building real-time data pipelines with high throughput;
- Experience working with cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure);
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and adaptability in a fast-paced environment;
