This position is a key role within the Mercer Marsh Benefits (MMB) Multinational Advisory team, based in Lisbon. The successful candidate will contribute to delivering consulting services across the total rewards spectrum, including strategy, design, benchmarking, startup, implementation, and governance.
The ideal candidate will have experience in total rewards and/or benefits-related work, with a strong understanding of international benefit issues and trends. They will be proficient in Spanish and French, with excellent written and spoken communication skills in English.
The responsibilities of this role include collaborating with experienced colleagues to deliver global services, proactively managing multi-country total rewards projects, assisting senior consultants in business development and proposal drafting, and supporting senior consultants in delivering project materials.
The successful candidate will also have exceptional planning and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize and effectively manage a diverse range of ongoing tasks. They will be able to build strong working relationships with colleagues and clients, and be comfortable engaging with client contacts.
Required Skills and Qualifications
The following skills and qualifications are essential for this role:
- Bachelor's or master's degree in finance, economics, HR, legal, or a related field.
- At least 1 year of experience in total rewards and/or benefits-related work.
- Excellent written and spoken communication skills in English.
- Spanish and French proficiency highly valued.
- Keen attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
