Aircraft Maintenance Coordinator

Purpose of Position

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for coordinating with approved maintenance facilities to ensure prompt troubleshooting and timely completion of maintenance tasks on company aircraft. You will track the progression of all maintenance events, ensuring that aircraft are repaired efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and monitor daily turn-around, unscheduled, and scheduled aircraft maintenance actions to ensure timely completion and minimal downtime.
  • Provide maintenance support to flight crews to enable timely technical decisions in the event of Aircraft On Ground (AOG).
  • Contact service providers to obtain information on progress of assigned work orders, controlling release to service dates and anticipating maintenance issues.
  • Maintain the Computerized Maintenance Tracking System work orders with status notes to enable informed decisions and ensure aircraft are repaired in a timely manner.
  • Notify relevant departments of technical issues impacting operations and customer satisfaction.
  • Review and approve maintenance Contract Change Orders to ensure cost control.
  • Coordinate with Aircraft Spares Parts Coordinator to obtain required parts, data, and support equipment for grounded aircraft, minimizing downtime.
  • Report and document activities or events potentially affecting aircraft continuing airworthiness, ensuring notification to regulatory authorities.
  • Review aircraft continuing airworthiness records and documentation to ensure compliance with internal and regulatory requirements.
  • Assist in coordinating logistics for Service Centre Technical personnel responding to AOG events.

Certifications and Licenses

Aircraft Maintenance Licence (AML) Part 66 B1, B2 or C

Years of Experience

4-6 years of experience in aircraft technical maintenance

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in aircraft technical maintenance
  • Good knowledge and interpretation of EASA regulations and requirements
  • Aircraft technical and system troubleshooting skills
  • Basic knowledge of FAA and ICAO regulations and requirements
  • Fluency in Business English (written and spoken)
  • Proficiency in MS Office
