Site Reliability Engineer

The ideal candidate for this role should possess a strong background in cloud infrastructure and experience in implementing automation tools, monitoring, and deployment processes. Familiarity with DevOps best practices and experience with security and compliance standards are also highly valued.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to the technical strategy in domains such as Infrastructure, Security, and Cloud Architecture
  • Maintain and extend cloud infrastructure using infrastructure as code (IaC) best practices
  • Evolve IaC to enable other teams to create their own infrastructure
  • Build and maintain core functionalities in our infrastructure, such as monitoring, logging, and auditing
  • Ensure compliance with relevant standards in the industry (e.g. HIPAA) and security best practices
  • Support development teams in creating and improving their CI/CD pipelines and automation

Requirements:

  • Strong experience with cloud infrastructure technologies, preferably AWS
  • Strong experience with IaC tools like Terraform or AWS CDK
  • Strong understanding of networking, security, and distributed systems
  • Experience with container orchestration (e.g., Kubernetes, AWS ECS)
  • Experience with monitoring and observability platforms (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana)
  • Experience with security best practices or health industry standards (e.g., HIPAA)
  • KCI/CD tools (e.g., Github Actions, GitLab CI) knowledge is a nice-to-have
  • .NET, Python, or JavaScript experience is a nice-to-have
  • Data Engineering and Machine Learning experience is a nice-to-have
