We are seeking an experienced UX Designer to join our Creative Tech team in Portugal. The successful candidate will work on designing user-centric digital products and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional user experiences.
Job Description
The Senior UX Design Specialist will be responsible for conducting user research, usability testing, and gathering feedback to inform design decisions. This involves:
- Developing wireframes, interactive prototypes, and user flows to illustrate design concepts and interactions;
- Iterating on designs based on feedback and usability testing results;
- Designing visually compelling and user-friendly interfaces that align with the brand's visual identity while adhering to best practices in UI design;
- Working collaboratively with product managers, developers, and visual designers to ensure a seamless and cohesive user experience throughout the product development lifecycle;
- Advocating for and implementing accessibility best practices to ensure that the digital products are usable by individuals with disabilities;
- Planning and conducting usability testing sessions to validate design concepts and gather user feedback;
- Analyzing test results and incorporating insights into design improvements;
Qualifications
To be considered for this role, you should have:
- Previous experience as a UX Designer or in a similar role with a strong portfolio showcasing successful UX projects;
- Proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar applications;
- Experience in creating wireframes and interactive prototypes to demonstrate user flows and interactions;
- Familiarity with various user research techniques, including usability testing, A/B testing, workshops, user interviews, and persona creation;
- Knowledge of technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript (a plus);
- Working experience with methodologies such as Design Thinking or Agile;
- Deep knowledge of Design Systems and technical knowledge related to Design project management;
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams;
Salary and Benefits
The estimated salary for this role is around €45,000 - €60,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. Devoteam Portugal offers a competitive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plan, and professional development opportunities.
