Job Description

At Voltalia, we are passionate about renewable energies. As a leading electricity producer from wind, solar, hydro, biomass, and storage, as well as a service provider to 3rd party clients, we are looking for a Civil Engineer who will play a key role in our Center of Expertise.

Responsibilities:
  • Design, review, and analyze steel mounting structures for PV plants, considering both technical and economic views.
  • Conduct topographical analysis and create 3D surface models for earthworks assessments and optimization.
  • Apply hydrological knowledge to design surface drainage for PV Plants.
  • Interpret and assess geotechnical surveys to determine applicable foundations for structures, buildings, paths, etc.
  • Design Solar PV Energy Projects worldwide, considering both technical and economic aspects.
  • Prepare civil execution projects, including drainage, roads, earthworks, foundations, etc.
  • Tender, RFQ, and technical requirements analysis budget proposal and detail design.
  • Provide technical assessment and support to our Project Business Development team.
  • Engage with suppliers for technical discussion on existing or alternative solutions.
  • Execute technical documents, including Bill Of Quantities, Technical Descriptions, Calculations, Specifications, and Drawings.
  • Offer technical assessment and support during site surveys worldwide.
  • Provide technical support during the construction and O&M phase.
  • Research and investigation for new technologies and solutions to be implemented on structures or infrastructures.
  • Review and verify designs and calculations prepared by external entities.

Requirements:
  • Master's degree or degree in Civil Engineering (or equivalent).
  • At least 3 years' experience.
  • AutoCAD and Civil 3D domain.
  • Robot structural software domain.
  • Solar PV design tool knowledge valued (Helios3D, PVCase, etc.).
  • Experience in renewables projects (valued).
  • English language domain.
  • French language domain (valued).
  • Availability for national and international travels.
