About the Role

The ideal candidate will have proven experience in the Telcos industry and a track record of producing technical design specifications. You'll work closely with the project manager to challenge and define the scope of projects, using appropriate elicitation and documentation techniques to ensure full business and technical understanding.

You'll be responsible for designing the IT solution, writing user stories in Jira, and verifying understanding of requirements with users. Additionally, you'll define, execute, and document the functional test plan, including regression tests in coordination with the regression tester.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analysis of business requirements, working with the business and end-users to understand their needs and processes;
  • Working with the Project Manager, challenge and define the scope of the project(s) using appropriate elicitation and documentation techniques to ensure full Business and Technical understanding;
  • As part of the required analysis to design the IT solution, write user stories in Jira and verify understanding of requirements with users;
  • Define, execute and document the functional test plan, including regression tests in coordination with the regression tester.

What We're Looking For

The successful candidate will have:

  • Proven experience in Telcos industry;
  • Desirable 5 years of experience as a product owner or BA;
  • Demonstrated experience in producing technical design specifications;
  • Experience with user stories and project management support;
  • Experience with JIRA, Confluence;
  • Knowledge of database management systems and application integration;
  • Experience in agile methodologies (SCRUM, KANBAN);
  • Ability to work within an environment with high pressure on timeliness and quality of deliveries.
