About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior API Architect to join our team at TN Portugal. As a Senior API Architect, you will be responsible for designing and implementing APIs that meet the needs of our clients. Your primary goal will be to create robust and scalable APIs that promote consistency, security, and value.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in API design, API lifecycle management, and API governance. You should be well-versed in industry-standard technologies such as OAS, Swagger, WSDL, and OAuth2. Additionally, you will need to possess strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and direct teams to meet organizational requirements.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional looking to take on a new challenge. If you are passionate about API architecture and have a proven track record of success, we encourage you to apply.

Main Responsibilities
- Design and implement APIs that meet client needs
- Develop and maintain API documentation
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure API compliance
- Conduct regular security audits to identify vulnerabilities

Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in API design and API lifecycle management
- Strong understanding of industry-standard technologies (OAS, Swagger, WSDL, OAuth2)
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Ability to motivate and direct teams to meet organizational requirements

Bonus Points
- Experience with leading API design tools and linters
- Familiarity with JSON, XML, and authentication/authorization standards
- Comfortable working in a hybrid environment with both on-site and remote work
