Key Responsibilities:
- Supplier Management: Identify, evaluate, and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure they meet quality, cost, and delivery standards.
- Sourcing and Negotiation: Source products and services, conduct negotiations, and secure favorable terms and pricing with vendors.
- Purchase Orders: Manage the procurement process from purchase order creation to delivery and payment, ensuring timely and cost-effective acquisitions.
- Market Research: Conduct research on market trends, new products, and potential suppliers to keep the company competitive and cost-efficient.
- Inventory Management: Collaborate with inventory and warehouse teams to ensure adequate stock levels, reducing shortages and overstock situations.
- Cost Control: Monitor spending and analyze procurement data to identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality or service.
- Compliance and Reporting: Ensure procurement activities comply with legal, regulatory, and internal company standards. Provide regular reports on procurement performance and savings to senior management.
- Supplier Performance Evaluation: Continuously evaluate supplier performance based on quality, delivery, and service to ensure ongoing effectiveness and reliability.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal departments (e.g., finance, operations, logistics) to understand procurement needs and align strategies with business objectives.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of procurement processes, contract negotiation, and supplier management.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in procurement software and MS Office (Excel, Word, etc.).
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess market trends and supplier data.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Salary: €55,000 - €65,000 per annum (dependent on experience).
