We are looking for an exceptional data engineer to lead our team and drive innovation in the field of big data technologies. As a senior data engineer, you will be responsible for designing and implementing scalable software and data-driven services using Big Data technologies, data storages, data warehouses, data lakes, and related data processing technologies.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in computer engineering, computer science, or a related field, with at least 5 years of experience in the field. They should have experience in building and optimizing data pipelines that process large datasets using Spark and cloud computing environments, as well as working on cloud environments, especially with data-related services such as BigQuery, BigTable, Dataproc, GCS, Composer, and GKE on Google Cloud Platform.
A good understanding of Agile methodologies, software development processes, CI/CD methodologies, DevOps overview, and quality assurance practices is also essential. The ability to work with workflow management platforms and collaborative platforms is highly desirable.
In addition to technical skills, the successful candidate will have excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team of engineers. A strong emphasis is placed on teamwork, collaboration, and continuous learning.
