Sales Development Team Lead Job DescriptionWe're seeking a highly experienced Sales Development Team Lead to join our Sales team and play a crucial role in establishing and scaling our SDR function across Portugal, Italy, and Spain. As the SDR Lead, you'll be responsible for leading a team of SDRs to generate new business opportunities, optimize outreach strategies, and support our company's growth objectives.
Key Responsibilities:- Design and implement a scalable SDR function, including tools, processes, and workflows. Define outreach and lead qualification strategies.
- Recruit, onboard, and manage a team of SDRs across multiple markets. Provide mentorship, coaching, and performance feedback to ensure team success.
- Collaborate with sales, marketing, and operations teams to develop and continuously refine outbound lead generation and qualification strategies.
- Establish KPIs and metrics to monitor the team's progress, ensure achievement of targets, and deliver regular reports on performance to senior leadership.
- Implement best practices for prospecting, lead qualification, and outreach using data-driven insights to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
- Work with senior sales leadership to ensure smooth handoff of qualified leads and optimize collaboration between SDRs and account executives.
- Partner with marketing to align messaging and campaigns with outbound efforts, ensuring that SDR outreach is consistent with company brand and strategy.
- Develop and implement ongoing training programs to ensure continuous improvement in SDR skills, including outreach, lead qualification, and product knowledge.
- Oversee the team's use of Salesforce to ensure accurate and up-to-date data on leads and opportunities.
- A minimum of 2 years in a SDR leadership capacity, preferably within a fast-paced B2B SaaS or Fintech environment.
- Demonstrated success in building and scaling SDR teams, achieving team targets, and driving measurable business growth.
- Ability to mentor, inspire, and develop a high-performing SDR team. Experience in creating an inclusive and motivating team culture.
- Ability to set up and manage SDR processes with a clear understanding of sales and marketing alignment. Experience using data to inform decision-making.
- Familiarity with modern SDR tools (e.g., Salesforce, Outreach, Salesloft, LinkedIn Sales Navigator) and the ability to optimize the tech stack for lead generation and reporting.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Highly driven, self-motivated, and results-oriented with a passion for achieving and exceeding targets.
- Fluency in English is required, and proficiency in Portuguese, Spanish, French, or Italian is a plus.
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
