Job Title: Purchasing Engineer
Your Contribution to Something Big
Within the Bosch group, you will be part of an international project team focused on the development of fire alarm systems. As a Technical Buyer, you will support product development by awarding new business to suppliers. Your responsibilities include ensuring project timelines and needs are met, as well as components release and material availability until production start. You will also award components/products for new projects or transferred projects, following the Bosch Purchasing supplier strategy. Additionally, you will ensure sample approval and component or product release, issue initial tool orders and contracts, manage suppliers to ensure quality requirements are met, and hand over technical and commercial information to Strategic Purchasing.
Qualifications
What Distinguishes You
- Education: degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or similar;
- Experience: previous experience in technical purchasing;
- Know-How: knowledge of preventative quality methods, supply chain activities, logistics, project management, and negotiation methods and strategies;
- Work Style: methodic and analytical way of working, ability to take responsibility for own work and initiative to drive solutions implementation;
- Personality: proactive and solution-oriented attitude, good communication and leadership skills;
- Languages: excellent written and verbal communication skills in English;
- Willingness to travel;
- CV in English;
