About the JobThis is a full-time position that offers a competitive salary, flexible working hours, and a daily meal allowance. You will have the opportunity to work in an international and multicultural environment, collaborating with colleagues from diverse backgrounds.
Responsibilities- Finding and correcting any translation errors, spelling mistakes, and ambiguities in game content.
- Verifying the tone and style, audio, text, and cultural correctness of games to ensure they meet the highest standards.
- Creating detailed reports in Excel and Jira to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
- Submitting quality-improving suggestions for errors found during testing.
- Native or near-native fluency in German (C2 level) and excellent English skills (C1 level).
- Perfect knowledge of grammar, spelling, and punctuation in your native language.
- Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel, and ability to work effectively under pressure.
- Excellent communication skills to express yourself precisely and clearly in written and verbal interactions.
- Ability to collaborate as part of a team and adapt to changing priorities.
- Prior experience in game testing, translation, or linguistic game testing.
- Familiarity with gaming platforms such as Sony (PS4/PS5), Microsoft (PC, Xbox One/XSX/XSS), Nintendo (Switch), and Apple (iOS).
