Regional HSE Director Sela

Overview: Reporting to the Regional CEO, this strategic role oversees safety, health, and environmental matters across a regional scope. The ideal candidate will lead the development and implementation of regional strategies, demonstrating best practices and identifying opportunities for improvement.

This dynamic role encompasses:

• Establishing the HSE structure and approach at a regional level;
• Directing and promoting a proactive safety culture across all functions;
• Providing support and advice to Global HSE and Global Sustainability, as well as the Regional CEO;
• Advising regional management on safety and environmental objectives, targets, and metrics, while assessing the HSE performance of the region;
• Managing HSE teams within the region, continuously building their capabilities;
• Developing and implementing HSE projects, such as employee wellbeing, sustainability, management systems, working in partnership with stakeholders;
• Ensuring the implementation of applicable HSE standards and systems from headquarters to the region, adapting or ensuring adaptation based on regulatory compliance.

To excel in this position, you will need:

• Bachelor or master degree in a compatible field;
• Relevant HSE qualification and understanding of key occupational safety topics, with relevant experience in the region or country;
• Extensive knowledge of European legislation and international agreements;
• Leadership skills, particularly in leading a team of HSE professionals;
• Preferred experience in Construction and O&M activities within the Onshore Wind sector, Oil and Gas, or other relevant heavy industries;
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams;
• Excellent English communication skills (oral and written).

The estimated salary for this position is approximately €80,000 - €120,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
