We are seeking an experienced Accounting & Tax Account Manager to join our team in Portugal. In this role, you will be responsible for providing top-notch services to our international clients and working closely with our Accounting Officers to prioritize their needs and help them grow and learn.
The ideal candidate will have a university degree in Economics, Finance, or Business Administration, as well as a Certified Accountant Certificate. At least 4 years of experience in accounting and tax firms or consulting companies is preferred. Excellent knowledge of Local GAAP & Tax compliance, with US GAAP/IFRS knowledge being a plus. Strong communication skills in English and Portuguese, proficiency in MS Office package, and experience with local accounting ERPs are essential.
Your responsibilities will include bookkeeping, tax compliance, cash management, statutory reporting, corporate reporting, annual accounts, cash projections, and audit assistance. You'll also work closely with our Accounting Officers to provide training and development opportunities and serve as the primary client contact.
