Job Description
We're seeking a Senior Application Support Engineer to ensure the smooth operation and maintenance of critical Business Intelligence applications. You'll provide expert-level support, drive automation initiatives, and enhance system performance and reliability.
Main Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support for Business Intelligence applications, ensuring their smooth operation.
- Monitor and maintain Linux servers for the applications, handling performance issues and troubleshooting.
- Develop and maintain scripts using Shell scripting and Python to automate tasks and improve application processes.
- Collaborate with the DevOps team to ensure seamless integration and deployment of updates.
- Investigate and resolve issues related to data processing and reporting in Business Intelligence tools (e.g., Cognos).
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- 5+ years of experience in application support and DevOps.
- Proficiency in Linux, Shell scripting, and Python.
- Fluency in English (French is a plus).
- Experience with PL/SQL is a plus.
- Familiarity with Business Intelligence tools like Cognos is a plus.
