About the Role

As a Localization QA Game Tester for Greek language, you will be an integral part of our Localization Quality Assurance team, being the first point of contact for localized games – translated text, images, and user interface collectively. You'll experience the project from the end-user's perspective, working closely with a multilingual project team to ensure that the game is free from grammatical errors, cultural inconsistencies, and accurately localized into the target language.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with a global project team to ensure seamless localization process.
  • Identify and correct spelling, grammar, punctuation, and other language errors to maintain linguistic accuracy.
  • Adhere to console manufacturer guidelines to guarantee compliance.
  • Log details of errors and issues, providing improvement suggestions to enhance the overall product quality.
  • Ensure accurate translation within context, maintaining consistency in terminology and imagery.
  • Identify missing or incorrect content and ensure proper display/format of dates, calendars, and characters.
  • Write reports on errors and bugs found and perform ad hoc translation tasks.
  • Oversee the quality of your work, collaborate with the team, and contribute to the overall success of projects.

Requirements

  • Fluency in Greek and English languages.
  • No prior experience required; we provide comprehensive training and support.
  • Strong cultural understanding of the Greek language.
  • Computer literacy – particularly with Excel software.
  • Robust Internet research skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Previous experience with using different software, applications, and websites.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, collaborating within project teams.

Compensation Package

We offer an attractive hourly rate of €7.23 per hour. Additionally, you will receive work equipment provided by PTW, full training, and the opportunity to work on prestigious game clients, titles, projects, and tech globally.

Working Conditions

  • Remote work setup.
  • Flexible working hours between 8:00 to 17:00 Portugal Time, Mondays through Fridays.
  • Work at least 4 hours a day if there's a project available.
