Randstad is recruiting a Cloud & Security Manager for a startup company that develops an Artificial Intelligence platform simplifying AI integration for companies. The work is hybrid, with one day per week spent in Braga or Lisbon.
Key Responsibilities
- IT Infrastructure & Cloud Management: Oversee the company's IT infrastructure, focusing on cloud services and Microsoft Azure. Ensure optimal performance, scalability, and cost-efficiency of cloud-based resources, including network security, automation, and AI support.
- Cybersecurity & Compliance: Maintain robust security protocols to safeguard data and ensure compliance with industry standards, such as ISO 27001. Oversee VPNs, firewalls, and certificate management to protect sensitive information and ensure secure connectivity.
- Incident Response & Disaster Recovery: Lead the incident response process by managing alerts, logs, and security incidents. Develop and maintain disaster recovery and business continuity plans to minimize downtime and ensure swift recovery.
- Leadership & Strategic IT Alignment: Develop and execute IT strategies aligned with business objectives, fostering a culture of innovation and technical excellence. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive IT improvements and provide guidance on security best practices.
- Vendor & Budget Management: Manage vendor relationships and oversee the IT budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and cost-effectiveness across the organization.
- Continuous Improvement & Industry Awareness: Stay updated on the latest industry trends, emerging security threats, and new technologies in cloud and network security, applying best practices to continuously improve our infrastructure and defenses.
Requirements
- Proven Experience: 2+ years of experience with Microsoft Azure and IT security best practices, with a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Technical Expertise: Proven experience in cloud infrastructure, IT security tools (certificates, VPNs, firewalls), and information security frameworks like ISO 27001.
- Analytical & Troubleshooting Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities, with a track record of quickly addressing IT challenges to maintain seamless operations.
- Leadership & Collaboration: Proven ability to lead and motivate teams, with clear communication skills to effectively engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Process-Oriented & Improvement-Focused: Committed to defining, refining, and enhancing IT processes, with a focus on continuous improvement and integrating new technologies.
- Adaptable & Hands-On: Flexible and responsive to evolving technology needs, with a hands-on approach to actively support IT initiatives and troubleshooting.
