The Role

As a Localization QA Game Tester, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and consistency of localized games. This involves collaborating with a global project team to identify and correct language errors, cultural inconsistencies, and other issues that may affect the gaming experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with a global project team to ensure high-quality localized games
  • Identify and correct language errors, cultural inconsistencies, and other issues
  • Ensure adherence to console manufacturer guidelines and maintain a deep understanding of the target language and culture
  • Communicate effectively with the team and provide improvement suggestions to enhance the gaming experience
  • Maintain accurate records of errors and issues identified, providing detailed reports and recommendations for improvement
  • Work closely with the team to ensure consistent terminology, imagery, and formatting across all aspects of the game

Requirements

  • Fluency in Japanese/Nihongo and conversational English
  • Strong cultural understanding of the language you are applying for
  • Computer literacy – particularly with Excel
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a global project team
  • Candidate must be located within Europe
