Job Summary

We're searching for a highly skilled Senior Product Designer who will oversee the design and user experience for key areas of our platform, collaborating closely with designers, product managers, engineers, and stakeholders. As an individual contributor, you'll drive impactful solutions that make our gifting platform the best in the world.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Leading end-to-end design from discovery to execution, crafting simple and elegant solutions for complex problems.
  • Conducting user research and translating insights into effective design solutions.
  • Creating wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity UI designs using the right tools and methods at the right time.
  • Collaborating closely with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to ensure alignment and transparency.
  • Setting achievable design timelines, maintaining clear communication throughout the process.
  • Maintaining and growing our design system for consistency and scalability.
  • Advocating for user-centric design and accessibility best practices.
  • Testing and iterating on designs based on feedback, analytics, and usability data.
  • Staying up to date with industry trends, tools, and best practices.
  • Providing feedback to your peers to elevate the quality of the design team.
About You

To excel in this role, you'll need:

  • At least 4 years of experience in Product Design, with a strong portfolio showcasing end-to-end design processes, problem-solving skills, and measurable impact.
  • Expertise in UX and UI design, with a proven track record of shipping successful digital products that balance user needs and business goals.
  • A strategic and commercial mindset, always considering the broader impact of design decisions on the business.
  • Proficiency in Figma, Miro, and Mixpanel, using data-driven insights to inform design choices through both qualitative and quantitative research.
  • Independence and proactiveness, able to hit the ground running in a fast-moving, agile startup environment.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, giving and receiving design critique constructively while working cross-functionally.
  • Great time management and adaptability, knowing when to explore deeply and when to refine quickly.
  • A passion for problem-solving and innovation, always looking to improve, learn, and have fun while doing it.

Interview Process

We follow a structured interview process consisting of:

  • 30-minute intro call with our talent team to learn about your experience, work style, and culture fit.
  • 60-minute portfolio review with our Chief Product Officer and members of our Design, Product, and Engineering teams to deep dive into your design experience.
  • 30-minute final interview with our Chief Product Officer to explore your strategic thinking and approach to design.
