As an SAP Authorization Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring secure authorization is considered throughout the design and implementation of SAP software products and services.
Key Responsibilities- Design and implement authorization concepts in collaboration with business stakeholders, ensuring system and data security and GDPR compliance across the SAP landscape.
- Analyze the systems landscape, identify risks, and solve business issues with access rules and authorizations.
- Take an engineering approach to solving authorization problems, selecting and guiding teams to use the right tools for the right jobs and thus solve the given business and technical problems in an efficient way.
- Use your advanced skillset for understanding and solving problems to take full ownership of complex topics or multi-faceted initiatives and outcomes panning across your domain.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- Strong skills in SAP on premise authorization concept/design (mainly FI/CO/SD/HR).
- A good understanding of processes regarding Segregation of Duties, 4 eyes-principles, etc.
- Basic ABAP knowledge related to authorization objects.
- Basic understanding of SAP Successfactors role-based permissions.
- Sensibility for general IT security-related processes.
