As a Localization QA Game Tester, you will work within the Localization Quality Assurance team, ensuring that games are free from grammatical errors, cultural inconsistencies, and accurately localized into the target language. You will collaborate with a global project team, identify and correct language errors, and log details of errors and issues.

You will also ensure accurate translation within context, maintain consistency in terminology and imagery, and oversee the quality of your work.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with a global project team
  • Identify and correct spelling, grammar, punctuation, and other language errors
  • Ensure adherence to console manufacturer guidelines
  • Log details of errors and issues, providing improvement suggestions
  • Ensure accurate translation within context and maintain consistency in terminology and imagery
  • Identify missing or incorrect content and ensure proper display/format of dates, calendars, and characters
  • Write reports on errors and bugs found and perform ad hoc translation

Requirements:

  • Fluency in Finnish and English
  • No experience required, training and support will be provided
  • Strong cultural understanding of the language
  • Computer literacy, particularly with Excel
  • Robust Internet research skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Previous experience with using different software, applications, and websites
  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely and collaborate within project teams

Working Conditions:

  • Remote
  • Project-based
  • Work flexibly between 8:00 to 17:00 Portugal Time, Mondays through Fridays
  • Work at least 4 hours a day (if there's a project)
