About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity to join our Localization Quality Assurance team as a Game Tester and Localization Expert. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and consistency of localized games, working closely with a global project team. Your attention to detail and language expertise will be crucial in identifying and correcting errors, cultural inconsistencies, and other issues that may impact the gaming experience.
Your key responsibilities will include collaborating with the project team, identifying and correcting language errors, adhering to console manufacturer guidelines, logging details of errors and issues, providing improvement suggestions, and maintaining consistency in terminology and imagery. You will also be responsible for writing reports on errors and bugs found and performing ad hoc translation tasks.
The ideal candidate will have strong language skills, particularly in English, and a solid understanding of cultural nuances. They will also possess excellent attention to detail, computer literacy, robust research skills, and the ability to communicate effectively within a team setting.
