SAP Analytics Project Manager Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced SAP Analytics Project Manager to join our team in Lisbon. As a key member of our project management team, you will be responsible for leading the delivery of complex SAP analytics projects from planning to deployment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Planning & Execution: Lead SAP analytics project lifecycles, including planning, scoping, design, development, testing, and deployment phases.
- Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with business stakeholders, IT teams, and vendors to gather requirements, define project scope, and deliver analytics solutions that meet business needs.
- Resource Management: Oversee internal and external project resources, including consultants, developers, and functional teams.
- Risk & Issue Management: Identify risks, anticipate challenges, and develop mitigation strategies to ensure timely and successful project delivery.
- Reporting & Documentation: Track project milestones, budgets, timelines, and quality metrics.
- Provide regular updates to leadership and stakeholders.
- Drive implementation of SAP analytics solutions such as SAP BW/4HANA, SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC), and SAP HANA.
- Monitor project performance and identify opportunities for process optimization and improved delivery.
- Support and coach project team members to deliver high-quality outcomes.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or a related field.
- A Master's degree is a plus.
- Minimum of 6 years of experience managing SAP projects, with 2+ years focused on SAP Analytics.
- Proven experience delivering solutions using SAP BW/4HANA, SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC), and/or SAP HANA.
- Strong understanding of data modeling, analytics, and reporting within SAP environments.
- Proficient in project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall) and tools (e.g., MS Project, ServiceNow).
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
- SAP project management certifications (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2, or SAP Activate) are preferred.
- Experience managing, reporting, and communicating on budgets, timelines, and resources in large-scale, cross-functional projects.
- Professional English proficiency (written and spoken).
