We are seeking a highly skilled Game Tester with German Language Expertise to join our Localization Quality Assurance department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of translated content in our games.
Key Responsibilities:
- Finding and correcting any translation errors, spelling mistakes, and ambiguities.
- Checking the game's tone and style, audio, text, and cultural correctness.
- Creating reports in Excel and Jira.
- Submitting quality-improving suggestions for the errors found.
Requirements:
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- German C2 level or native fluency.
- English C1 level for effective internal communication and reporting.
- Excellent knowledge of grammar, spelling, and punctuation in your language.
- Strong MS Office skills, especially Excel.
- Great communication skills, enabling precise and clear expression.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and under time pressure.
Bonus Points:
In addition to the above requirements, having experience in game testing, translation, or linguistic game testing, as well as familiarity with platforms like Sony, Microsoft, Nintendo, and Apple, can be beneficial.
