The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance and accounting, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in AP operations. You will be responsible for managing high-volume data entry, resolving issues on invoices, and implementing process improvements.
About the Role:
- Responsible for managing and maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of all invoices, payments, and credits.
- Process and verify accuracy of incoming invoices from suppliers via different invoicing channels.
- Ensure timely payment of invoices that conform to internal and external requirements.
- Resolve internal customer and external supplier queries/claims on a timely basis, including supporting litigation topics.
- Investigate and resolve payment issues, perform Vendor Statement Reconciliations (VSRs), and manage Non-Purchase Orders (PO) exceptions.
- Collaborate with internal customers to identify and implement solutions for problems encountered daily.
- Promote adherence to business rules in accordance with standard Airbus processes and policies.
Qualifications:
- 5-10 years of experience in finance and accounting.
- Ability to handle high-volume data entry and resolve issues on invoices.
- Familiarity with standard accounting concepts, practices, and procedures.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Effective communication skills, both oral and written.
- Ability to work with all organizational levels and prioritize issues efficiently.
