The International Mobility Recruitment Department is dedicated to enhancing the mobility of IT professionals throughout Europe, facilitating the placement of talents in the various markets where it operates. Position : JAVA TECH LEAD Location : Lisbon Hybrid: 2 times a week on the client´s office Candidates must possess a valid work permit for Portugal Mandatory Languages Required: French (minimum B2) and English (minimum B2) We’re looking for a Java Tech Lead to guide a development team in building scalable and high-performance applications. You’ll work hands-on with modern technologies and ensure best practices are followed throughout the development lifecycle. Key Responsibilities: Lead a team of developers, ensuring code quality and on-time delivery Design and develop backend systems with Java 11, Spring Boot, and Hibernate Collaborate with front-end developers using Angular Work with MySQL for database design and optimization Participate in architecture discussions and help shape technical direction Support and mentor team members Requirements: Strong experience in Java 11, Spring Boot, Hibernate Solid front-end knowledge with Angular Good understanding of relational databases, especially MySQL Experience leading teams or acting as a senior developer Excellent communication and problem-solving skills Nice to have: Experience with cloud services and CI/CD pipelines Advantages of joining MoOngy: International Mobility: Access to a dedicated international mobility department with personalized relocation programs to facilitate your move to a new country.
