Role Summary: Junior Business Development Manager Workplace: Lisbon, Hybrid Reporting to: Country Manager At Ignition Portugal, we help organizations protect their digital world with leading-edge cybersecurity solutions. As we continue to grow, we're looking for a Junior Business Development Manager to join our team in Lisbon and support our expanding network of vendors, partners, and clients. What you will do: Business Development & Sales Support Assist in identifying and qualifying new business opportunities within the cybersecurity ecosystem. Support the preparation of proposals, presentations, and commercial documentation. Contribute to lead generation efforts and initial outreach to potential partners or customers. Vendor & Partner Engagement Work closely with some of the most innovative cybersecurity vendors in the market. Support partner enablement activities, helping resellers understand product offerings and programs. Participate in vendor calls, updates, and training sessions to stay informed about new technologies. Market & Product Learning Stay up to date with cybersecurity trends, emerging technologies, and market developments. Assist in gathering insights on competitor offerings and partner needs. Continually develop your technical and commercial knowledge through internal and external training. Internal Collaboration Work hand-in-hand with the sales, marketing, and operations teams to ensure alignment between initiatives. Support the organization of events, webinars, and partner activities when needed. Contribute to the smooth running of daily business development operations. What we're looking for: A degree in Business, Marketing, Information Technology, or a related field. Genuine interest in cybersecurity and technology — no expert knowledge required, just curiosity and motivation to learn. Strong communication skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to build rapport with different stakeholders. A proactive mindset, willingness to take initiative, and enthusiasm for working in a team-oriented environment. Good level of Portuguese and English (written and spoken).
