This is a long-term contract role, based in Lisbon, offering a flexible hybrid working model (one day per week in the office). You will play a key role in the design, implementation, and operation of enterprise-scale network and security infrastructure, while also providing technical leadership across projects and day-to-day operations. Key Responsibilities Design, plan, and implement network and security infrastructure supporting multiple business units Provide operational support for daily activities and incident resolution in complex environments Lead and contribute to infrastructure projects, from design through delivery Act as a senior escalation point for network and security incidents Coordinate and lead a multidisciplinary team, ensuring high-quality delivery across network and security domains Mentor and support junior engineers, promoting best practices and knowledge sharing Collaborate closely with DevOps and automation teams to improve efficiency and reliability Ensure operational excellence, stability, and security across the environment Key Technologies & Experience Network & Security Firewalls: Check Point, Fortinet, Palo Alto Management Platforms: Provider-1, Panorama, FortiManager, FortiAnalyzer Load Balancers: F5 BIG-IP / BIG-IQ, A10 L2/L3 Networking: Cisco ACI Fabric Cisco legacy platforms (Nexus 7k, 5k, 2k, 9k, ASR 9k) SSL VPN / SASE: Palo Alto SASE Monitoring & Observability: Netmetrix, Grafana Automation & Tooling Security policy automation using Tufin Support for atomic function development for: Cisco ACI Fabric Palo Alto Panorama F5 Close collaboration with DevOps teams on automation initiatives Leadership & Soft Skills Proven experience leading technical teams Strong coordination and stakeholder management skills Ability to balance hands-on technical work with leadership responsibilities Clear communication skills and a proactive, solution-oriented mindset Contract Details Contract Type: Long-term contract Location: Lisbon, Portugal Working Model: Hybrid – 1 day onsite / 4 days remote
