What we need you to do and be As a Lead Data Platform Engineer you will be part of a highly skilled team building the foundation that keeps RELEX’s mission‑critical data flowing smoothly. This is a hands‑on role where you’ll take technical ownership, collaborate with senior peers, and design solutions that serve both today’s needs and tomorrow’s growth. You will work with Python and SQL to design and implement reliable data flows DevOps tooling to deploy and evolve data pipelines and database objects (e.g. tables, schemas) Snowflake, Kubernetes, and cloud services as part of our modern data platform stack You will support Product and engineering teams across RELEX in taking the data platform into use You will contribute to Architectural discussions and technical decision‑making The ongoing evolution of our data platform to enable efficiency, scalability, and innovation across the company What you’ll bring to the table Strong hands‑on experience with Python and SQL Proven background in data engineering: designing and operating data platforms or warehouses (e.g., Snowflake, Databricks, PostgreSQL, DuckDB, BigQuery) Experience with at least one major cloud platform (Azure, AWS, or GCP) Familiarity with modern DevOps tooling (Kubernetes, Terraform, CI/CD) to support and scale data solutions Ability to translate business requirements into robust, scalable technical solutions High seniority, independence, and ability to run projects with multiple stakeholders Fluent in written and spoken English Bonus Hands‑on experience with data orchestration frameworks (e.g. Dagster, dbt, Airflow) Familiarity with real‑time or streaming data technologies (Kafka, Kinesis, Pub/Sub) Experience working in international teams and strong collaboration skills What we offer in return An international career and learning opportunities A rapidly growing and financially robust software company with exciting opportunities for career growth Key benefits Flexible working & genuine work‑life balance Annual leave plus mobile & internet benefits Diverse, inclusive, and supportive work culture Meaningful work with a commitment to a more sustainable future High autonomy & room for creativity Strong team spirit through company parties, team days, and after‑work activities Family‑oriented policies Flat hierarchies & two paid volunteering days each year Apply today and be part of the future.
