About the Role: This is a leadership‑team role with real influence and accountability in a scale‑up business. You will sit at the intersection of Finance, Customer Success, and Technology & Delivery. You will act as the central translation and co‑ordination point, ensuring that information flow accurately, consistently and efficiently across the business so that teams can plan effectively, deliver confidently and report & invoice correctly. You will be hands‑on reviewing data, setting standards, resolving ambiguity, and ensuring that operational and financial accuracy are never compromised across all our teams. Core responsibilities: Own the global Business Operations function, setting standards, ways of working and priorities. Act as the central co‑ordination point between Finance, Customer Success, and Technology & Delivery, and other teams. Put in place processes and tools to ensure data and ownership is always clear and visible, resolving issues swiftly as they arise. Lead and develop a small Business Operations team Ensure accurate capture and ongoing maintenance of core operational data, including timesheets, delivery effort, project allocations, milestones, burn against SoWs/POs, and contract values, rate cards, and commercials.. Ultimately responsible for the integrity of operational inputs into invoicing & forecasting. Support pre‑sales and customer teams by ensuring historical and current cost data are available to inform bids, estimates and commercial proposals. Issue contracts to customers and sub‑contractors utilising templates, managing the Docusign process. Manage the review process of new contracts in line with guidance (there is a separate owner for doing the actual reviews + approving/negotiating). Own the operational lifecycle of customer and supplier contracts post‑signature. Collate Sales forecast data to facilitate commercial modelling and scenario analysis alongside Finance. Requirements: 8+ years’ experience in senior Business Operations, Commercial Operations or similar roles, within professional services, consulting or contract recruitment environments Deep, practical understanding of T&M and fixed‑price delivery models Proven experience operating at the intersection of Finance and delivery teams, with personal accountability for resolving conflicts between commercial expectations, operational data and delivery constraints. Strong track record of improving data quality, forecasting accuracy and operational discipline Experience directly interfacing with Finance teams Demonstrated ability to make and stand by operational decisions that balance financial accuracy, delivery practicality and customer impact.
