**Job Description**:
An exciting opportunity has come up for a Field Medical Advisor in Oncology, responsible for GI tumors and Hematologic malignancies, to join our Portuguese Medical Affairs team. In this role, you will be accountable for the planning and execution of the local medical strategy for the therapeutic area under your responsibility, aligned with the franchise's regional and global strategy.

**Main responsibilities include**:

- Engaging in peer-to-peer medical and scientific exchange with key external stakeholders.
- Creating value to Scientific Leaders, by means of medical education activities, as well as valuable scientific information exchange
- To build trust with the external scientific community, while bringing relevant insights internally to the Organization, which will ultimately shape the strategy for the therapeutic area
- Engaging key external stakeholders in clinical research (clinical trials, LDGs and IIS), as well as in speaker’s activities
- Providing prompt medical information support, answering medical inquiries from external and internal customers, and review/approval of local response documents
- Contribution to the internal training of other roles in the Company
- Contribute to a positive corporate image and compliance

**Qualifications and Skills**:

- Medical Doctor, BSc in Pharmacy. All other science degrees at PhD level
- Preferably with scientific knowledge in Oncology and/or Hematology fields
- Strong scientific background
- Ideally 3 years’ experience of Pharma Industry and medical Affairs Function
- Ability to effectively interact with Scientific and Medical Leaders
- Ability to work effectively in high performance matrix organizations
- Proficient user of the Portuguese language (both written and spoken)
- Independent user of the English language
- Skilled in the following areas: medical knowledge, problem analysis and solving, project management, proactivity, adaptability and flexibility, prioritization
- Excellent communication skills and teamwork capabilities
