Overview

The role is part of Mastercard’s Secure Remote Commerce (SRC) Global Product team, responsible for new and existing e-commerce checkout related products and services. One of the top priorities for this team is conceptualizing, building, launching, and scaling payment industry-standard products that will transform the guest checkout value proposition for consumers, merchants, PSPs, and issuers. The SRC global product team is at the core of defining and driving overall leadership in innovation and security in payments to meet evolving consumer needs. Providing strong authentication, security, and identity services with best-in-class user experience is crucial to the success of this program. It builds on Mastercard’s leadership around cyber security, authentication, identity verification and biometrics capabilities.

Role
- Lead the product strategy, requirements definition and implementation of new features for Secure Remote Commerce (SRC) customers including Click to Pay merchants, card on file merchants, issuers, and other use cases.
- Collaborate with regional product teams and other groups to understand customer needs, to generate ideas, define requirements, prioritize features, validate solutions, and ensure feature development and platform integration are aligned with business objectives.
- Define user experience, API interfaces, business requirements, functional requirements, and product roadmap.
- Write detailed features and user stories to explain requirements to development team members.
- Own and lead cross-functional teams to deliver against the roadmap using Agile methodology, working with Engineering, UX, Testing, Project Management, Legal, Security, and other teams.
- Perform launch-related activities including customer onboarding, integration support, creating implementation guides, and training.
- Create effective customer presentations and work with tech writers on API documentation to support customer integrations.
- Define and track KPIs and analytics for reporting product performance, and to help inform decision making and future roadmap.
- Communicate the new features and roadmap to various stakeholders and provide updates to senior management.

All About You
- 7+ years of experience in digital global product development, product management or related functions, including experience launching new initiatives.
- Extensive experience in the definition, development, and delivery of highly scalable API-driven services in B2B, B2C, E-Commerce, Payments, or Financial Services industry.
- Strong business acumen with the ability to develop features and user interfaces that drive excellent customer experience, strong value proposition, and scale.
- Detail-oriented, problem-solver, metrics-focused and results-driven with ability to lead operational execution.
- Highly proactive, customer-focused, agile mindset and comfortable dealing with ambiguity in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience participating in agile scrum teams acting as the product owner and working with other product owners to deliver on large scale, complex projects.
- Excellent project management and cross-functional collaboration skills with proven ability to work across business, UX, research and technology teams. Ability to work on and manage multiple projects concurrently.
- Excellent verbal and written communication. Comfortable presenting and influencing different stakeholders, able to shift gears for audiences from different business disciplines of varying technical ability.
- Technical background and strong technical competence with the ability to read technical specifications and engage in technical tradeoff discussions.
- B.A./B.S. required.
