In this instance, we are on the lookout for a/an **Construction Manager** to lead projects in the **Oil & Gas** sector in Portugal.

**Location**:Sines, Portugal.

**Work Modality**: on-site work.

**Responsibilities**:

- Attend daily and weekly meetings to monitor project progress.
- Oversee and validate the construction execution plan and the progress of daily work.
- Coordinate, supervise, and manage on-site construction activities through supervisors.
- Review the EPCM contractor’s weekly and monthly reports on contract status, project costs, and potential changes.
- Collaborate with the EPCM contractor to ensure productivity goals are met and emerging issues are resolved.
- Coordinate the integration of construction activities with different departments, such as engineering, maintenance, and quality assurance.
- Ensure that safety and quality standards are met on site.
- Analyze and mitigate construction risks.
- Provide technical support to the EPCM contractor and the project manager.
- Assist in the pre-commissioning, commissioning, and start-up phases.
- Participate in the completion and close-out of the project.

**Requirements**:

- University degree in Industrial Engineering, Project Management, Civil Engineering, or related fields.
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in planning and controlling construction projects in the **Oil & Gas** sector.
- Experience managing schedules, budgets, and the performance of contractors and suppliers, as well as reviewing and managing contractual terms, with a focus on risk minimization.
- Experience in managing relationships with multiple stakeholders (EPCM, subcontractors, suppliers).
- Knowledge of cost management and detection of delays in project progress.
- Advanced proficiency in project planning tools such as **Primavera P6**, **MS Project**, and **SAP**.
- Proficiency in English (C1 level).
