We’re seeking an organised, articulate technology professional to join our Zyte Data team as Associate Product Manager. You’ll be taking big-picture product specifications and turning these into well-structured user stories that either our developers can build and test, or our Services department can implement. You’ll work with prospects and clients to discover and prioritise user stories, always with an eye on increasing the amount of value Zyte can deliver to clients.

You will also be working on Pricing for our suite of offerings, ensuring at all times we are competitive, profitable, and growing. This is a team endeavour and requires cross functional input & coordination to ensure predictable costs for clients and revenue for finance.

Reporting to the Senior Product Manager for our Zyte Data team, you will work very closely with our Engineering and Design teams on a day to day basis and will be an important part of teams that include Marketing, Customer Success and Sales. You will play an important role in scaling and growing our business.

We are looking for a creative, analytical, collaborative Associate Product Manager who has excellent verbal and written communication to join our fast-growing company.

**Associate Product Manager Responsibilities**:

- You will work closely with the Senior Product Manager and other product leaders to progress high-level product specifications into user story maps and well articulated individual user stories
- As a SAAS business we thrive on data. You will help the team to understand what is working and what isn’t by investigating the relationship between the usage of individual offerings or features and customer conversion / churn. You will explore data to identify causes of spikes or dips in sales to help us see what we need to do to improve these, to grow faster
- You will conduct analysis on data to help us to experiment quickly - what is working? What isn’t?

- You can take a big goal and break it into pieces, are able to sense when the picture is incomplete
- If product backlogs are disordered or out of date, sprint metrics are off-target, you’ll be the person who has an instinct to put this right.

- You’ll want to make sure you understand features and their dependencies in order that you can capture them correctly. You’ll go find people to give you explanations until you understand them fully.
- You’ll enjoy digging through data like a detective to find the underlying cause of outcomes like increased sign-ups or a drop in trials

- You’re willing to remind people, to chase people to complete on actions
- You have the determination to get time and get answers from busy people
- Subject Matter Expertise
- Technical enough to ask engineers good questions about architecture and product decisions alike

**Requirements**:

- 3 years working within software development teams
- Demonstrable skills in capturing written feature requirements
- Experience working with data or analytics tools. Skills in data retrieval / joining / manipulation (e.g. SQL) an advantage but not mandatory
- Undergraduate concentration in Computer Science or a technical discipline an advantage
