**Overall responsibilities and duties**:
The main missions of the role are:

- To execute weekly Transport plans and follow up on transport progress daily
- Being the first contact with material planners and transport companies to resolve issues on daily basis
- To create in TMs expedite Freight requests
- Send to / Warehouses / material planners the expected truck arrivals
- To confirm transport service receipts in TMS
- Communicate any changes affecting his plan regarding operations. Opening hours, holiday calendar, delivery windows, turnaround times etc, and change them in TEO
- Resolve Operational Issues, and queries regarding missing quantities etc.
- Store Proof of deliveries and make them available upon request
- Control Any Packaging discrepancies reported by the carriers and contact Material planners to change them
- Freight network optimization, identify synergies with other plants, optimization of delivery frequencies, optimization of needed transport capacity according to real needs.
- Daily communication with carriers and forwarders, problem solving.
- QSS claims and continuous operational improvement support
- XD operation management
- Cost negotiation for premium freight and freight on demand
- Support function for other departments (PCL Program, Customs)
- Management exceptional freight in IT system (Easy 4 Pro)
- Transport Service Levels.
- Identify truck filling opportunities during weekly planning and for his plants and liaise with material planners / Transport Manager to improve it
- Create and resolve transport claims for damaged goods missing goods
- Record Transport provider performance and incidents in event management. Report to Transport Manager
- Ensure all expedite Freight is recorded and managed in TMS and with the appropriate approvals
- Work with plants to understand needs for Expedite freight and work to pro-actively reduce it
- Being the contact with controller and accounts payable for discrepancies in invoices or for special charges
- Ensure that Packaging data is corrected immediately after identification by communicating with Material Planners / Packaging Coordinators
- Scope: Responsible for transport in own region or country

**Others**:

- Perform the tasks in a disciplined manner and accept the responsibilities associated with it, according the quality, environment, health and safety policies and the company’s strategic objectives in these areas.
- Respect and ensure in his/her daily approach the correct and fully implementation of the Faurecia code of ethics (Respect for fundamental Human Rights, Development of economic and social dialogue, Development of skills, Ethics and rules of business conduct, if necessary reporting infringements to the Code of Ethics ).

- Perform other tasks not specified ago, and necessary to further the objectives of the company and the team
