**HR Consultant**
Are you a strong HR generalist with a burning motivation for recruiting and the ability to take on the responsibility to build and run the full employee life cycle in our office in Portugal?
Better Collective is an international award-winning digital company, working to give punters and players a better and more secure igaming experience by producing outstanding sports betting content and iGaming products.
We are on the lookout for an HR Consultant to function as the local HR for our office in Lisbon.
**THE ROLE**
As our HR Consultant in Better Collective Portugal, you will be given the responsibility to set up our People operations in Portugal and work on the full scope of the HR employee lifecycle (hire to retire). You will be an active member of Better Collective’s Global People & Culture team and participate in regular group meetings. Contributing to projects and sharing of experience is key, and highly prioritised, in order to uphold a strong consistency throughout the Global Group.
**PEOPLE OPERATIONS**
- Establish our local People operations in coordination with our Global People & Culture team
- Run end to end recruitment activities for the Portuguese market
- Manage compensation processes (in close coordination with Global HR)
- Manage exit procedures
- Provide reporting based on the business needs
- Be part of organising social events

**OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE**
- +3 years experience in a HR function
- Broad HR skill-set, with a focus on HR operations, recruitment, Portugese employment law, and employee relations
- Enjoys working independently as well as value the process of establishing and fostering employee relations
- Proactive approach and positive attitude
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Preferably work experience from an international work environment
- Fluent in English (corporate language is English)

**LEARNING OPPORTUNITIES**
- Play a key role in developing and facilitating the growth of our office in Portugal
- Be certified in the assessment tool Master-HR (utilised in the interview process)
- Develop your working experience as a part of a Global HR Team
