An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced UX Lead to join our team

As a UX Lead, you will be responsible for delivering the best online user experience, which makes your role extremely important for our success and ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty. You will be thinking and shaping our product user interfaces along with working with our product team to develop and launch new product lines and features.

At Leafwell, we believe cannabis is medicine, and our mission is to unlock the therapeutic potential of the plant by increasing access, research, and education.

**Essential Duties and Responsibilities**

**The UX Lead will perform the following responsibilities**:

- Analyze user feedback and activity, and iterate to enhance the user experience
- Conducting competitor and customer analysis
- Conduct usability studies/testing
- Optimize existing user interface designs
- Test for intuitive user experience and accessibility
- Communicate with the various stakeholders to understand their business goals and objectives
- Develop technical and business requirements and always strive to deliver intuitive and user-centered solutions
- Combine creativity with an awareness of the design elements
- Plan and implement wireframes and designs
- Create prototypes for new product ideas
- Test new ideas before implementing
- A/B Test with our audience to improve customer conversion and retention
- Conduct an ongoing user research
- Assist with content development

**Experience and Qualifications**

**Required**
- 4+ years of experience as a UI/UX Designer, Product Designer, Product Owner or similar role
- UX design portfolio or UX research portfolio
- Bachelor’s degree in relevant field
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to discuss and explain design options
- Detail-oriented
- Critical thinker
- Problem solver and customer-centered
- Knowledge of Visual Design and Prototyping Tools (i.e. Figma/Sketch/Adobe XD, Invision)
- Knowledge of Usability Factors in Human-Computer Interaction.
- Nice to have experience with HTML5 & CSS3

**Preferred**
- Cannabis knowledge; industry experience is a plus
- Proficient in Google Suite
- Outstanding organizational and time-management skills
- A leader and strategic thinker
- Problem-solving and decision-making aptitude
- Effective project management skills and knowledge of utilizing a project management platform in collaboration with other team members
