**Job description**

This role contributes to the success of SOFYNE by providing regular training to our teams in order to enhance the competencies of individual support consultants by designing and conducting training programs that will boost consultants' workplace performance in alliance with the company's core values. You will be responsible for performing training needs assessments, designing and delivering curriculum and learning materials, and managing all phases of training interventions.

**Required profile**

Responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:

- Identify training needs by evaluating strengths and weaknesses
- Translate requirements into trainings that will groom consultants for the next step of their career path
- Build an annual training program and prepare teaching plans
- Develop or oversee the production of classroom handouts, instructional materials, aids, and manuals
- Direct structured learning experiences and monitor their quality results
- Acclimate new hires to the business and conduct orientation sessions
- Deliver training courses
- Assess training effectiveness to ensure incorporation of taught skills and techniques into consultants' work behavior
- Periodically evaluate ongoing programs to ensure that they reflect any changes
- Stay abreast of new trends and tools in consultant development

**Skills & experience**:
**Experience**:

- Proven experience as a trainer
- Understanding of effective teaching methodologies and tools
- Proven ability to master the full training cycle
- Adequate knowledge of learning management software
- Familiarity with traditional and modern training methods, tools, and techniques
- Nice to have: experience within the manufacturing industry

**IT competencies**
- Programming skills (C#, JavaScript)
- Database knowledge (structure and SQL)
- Knowledge of base platforms, such as TalentLMS
- Proficient in MS Office; e-learning software is an asset

**Human competencies**
- Phenomenal communication, presentation, and public speaking skills
- Organizational and time management abilities
- Critical thinking and decision-making
- Personable and committed
- Self-motivated and diligent
- Results oriented
- Nice to have: French speaker

**Education**
- Degree Educated
