We are looking for a Solutions Architect (IMS Core) at Nokia Portugal to join our IP Tel team based in Alfragide/Amadora.

In this role, you will have the option to work remotely from Portugal, but being required to work once per month onsite (Amadora office).

As a Solutions Architect (IPTelephony), you will design and lead IMS domain solutions on the Core network back to our International clients.

In addition, you will interact with Project management, Integration Engineers and end
- to-end architects in order to deploy complex and innovative solutions (5G, IoT).

This role would not suit a Radio Access Network Engineer, but would be a perfect fit for IMS Core network Engineer.

As part of the team, you will:

- Develop detailed customer solution design & architecture and perform technical risk evaluation for an overall technical solution.
- Own technical part of bid preparation, solution design/architecture, and scope of work.
- Lead the technical implementation during the delivery phase.
- Present offered solution design/architecture to customer and verify/adapt it during realization phase
- Liaise with End to End Architects and other members of the regional team as well as with Product Managers and related 3rd party Project managers to align customer requirements.
- Design and lead the identification and specification of complex solutions in a demanding customer environment.

Your skills and experience

You have:

- University Degree in related field
- Good Knowledge of GSM/UMTS/LTE Networks and Call flows
- Solution design & Implementation of Core Network Elements including CFX, TAS, SBC, NN, NEF,
- Experience in IMS Solution Integration, installing IMS Node and related Software on commissioned hardware
- Experience/knowledge Cloud + Virtualization and VNF Deployments
- Good experience in Unix/Linux commands
- Experience/ knowledge in Router and Switch configuration
- Good understanding of Call Flows
- Basic scripting language expertise (Shell script, PERL, Python, Ansible) would be added advantage.
- Ability to troubleshoot call flow-related issues and fix them.
- Ability to work on Automation initiatives.
