Medical Science Liaison

For this exciting position in Portugal we are searching for a Medical Science Liaison (Pharmaceutical) for the North of Portugal territory. In this position, you will represent Medical Affairs externally to establish and maintain medical relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), HCPs and key accounts on behalf of Viforpharma. Group Execution of country medical plans locally by representing the medical expertise in TAs and products and through scientific engagement with the medical community -**
Yours tasks will include the following**:

- Organisational Integration
- Develop and maintain scientific and medical expertise (TAs and products)
- Identify, develop and maintain relationships with KOLs, HCPs and professional organisations
- KOL engagement, key account medical support and other appropriate activities
- Facilitate scientific engagement, scientific exchange and medical information
- Provide Disease State Education, clinical presentations and respond to medical requests
- Update medical team and other internal stakeholders on medical community interactions
- Provide medical support for patient and formulary access products following global and local policies and procedures
- Support the development, implementation and completion of medical activities (advisory boards, congress symposia, hospital meetings and speaker programs)
- Serves as medical resource for supporting sales colleagues’ training at their own territory level
- Support company sponsored clinical research and IIS process
- Attend relevant scientific meetings and conferences and support development of summaries of key data, presentations or symposium
- Ensure compliance with applicable local and global laws, regulations, guidelines and company policies and procedures
- Develop personal and professional capabilities to improve skills and professional capabilities

**For this role you will need to bring the following requirements**:

- University degree in Medical or Life Science Field (e.g. Biology/ Biochemistry, Pharmacy, Medicine )
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in clinical practice, research or pharmaceutical industry
- Experience with pharma industry locally, regionally or globally preferred
- Experience as MSL/Field Medical within pharmaceutical experience
- Demonstrated experience in KOL, HCP or medical community engagement
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in Portuguese & English; experience with digital communication
- Very good presentation skills in public scientific presentations
- Clinical and/or research experience in Nephrology, Cardiology or Internal Medicine, or is nice to have
- Experience in clinical research and in literature review and analysis
- Experience in planning and delivering Medical Trainings is nice to have
- Ability for overnight travel, up to 50%
