Swoosh English is an online English exam academy founded in 2013. We provide online courses and lessons to students conducted by a team of fully qualified and experienced UK native English teachers in order to help them pass their IELTS/OET/PTE exams.
**Purpose of the role**:
**Roles and responsibilities**:
- Managing the firm’s website; strengthening SEO, and optimising both layout and content for UX and lead conversion purposes
- Optimising and creation of sequences and funnels that help grow and leverage our existing database
- An awareness of face type usage and sensibilities to fit brand identity
- Understanding of colour palette and colour psychology to underline brand
- Layout and composition awareness
- Presenting wording and information on imagery clearly and in a balanced way
- Type of imagery selection in photography, stock photos, infographic design so it’s fit for purpose
- Generation of assets based on specification and ensuring correct resolution and formatting for social media asset requirements
**Measurement and Reporting**
- Ability to work to and track agreed digital KPI’s
- Regular reporting and analytics of data to monitor, plan and improve digital marketing activity across all channels and campaigns with a view of driving user engagement and lead generation
- The maintenance and optimisation of the company website include layout, user experience, SEO, keyword implementation including adding and updating content and identifying and implementing site enhancements
- Acquire insight in online marketing trends and keep strategies up-to-date
- Measure performance of digital marketing efforts using a variety of Web analytics tools such as Google Analytics
**Required experience**
- Fluent in English
- 2+ years digital marketing experience
- BSc/BA in marketing or relevant field
- Proven track record of delivering and managing multi-channel marketing campaigns
- Excellent understanding of digital marketing concepts and best practices including lead generation, lead nurture, user experience optimisation and multi-channel automated and integrated campaigns.
- Experience with Google Adwords and SEO/SEM
- Experience identifying powerful keywords to drive the most valuable traffic
- In depth knowledge of web analytics tools (e.g. Google Analytics, WebTrends etc.), WordPress and Zapier
- Skills and experience in creative content writing
- Knowledge and experience implementing Google AdWord campaigns a benefit
- Good working of Adobe Creative Suite or Canva
**Desirable experience**:
- Basecamp project management
- Active Campaign usage or a similar system
- Funnel creation experience within ClickFunnels
- Experience with CRM and data management
**Desirable attributes**:
- Excellent communicator, both written and verbal
- Excellent copywriting and editorial skills for creating effective marketing messages
- Strong project management, time management and organisation skills
- Analytical mindset and critical thinking
- Emotionally intelligent with good listening skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent IT skills
- Open-minded and willing to learn and develop for further CPPD
- Possess a sense of humour and exude professional and personal positivity
- Team player with excellent interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well under pressure
- Demonstrable leadership qualities in a previous role
