**The opportunity**

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Tech Lead to join the CloudCockpit team at Create IT. We believe the best products are built when engineers are deeply connected to the 'why' behind their work and the impact it has on our users. In this crucial role, you will be responsible for the technical direction, design, and delivery of key features and components within our globally scaling CloudCockpit platform. You'll not only guide technical execution but also be a key partner in shaping the product. We're looking for someone who embodies this product-first mindset, is passionate about solving real-world customer problems, and can lead a talented team of engineers in building robust, scalable, and high-quality solutions.

**Key responsibilities**
- Lead, mentor, and empower our unified CloudCockpit engineering team, fostering a culture of technical excellence, collaboration, and continuous learning through impactful code reviews and constructive feedback.
- Spearhead the end-to-end technical design and architecture of our entire.NET-based CloudCockpit platform, ensuring solutions are scalable, maintainable, secure, and optimized for global service delivery.
- Actively contribute to hands-on development for CloudCockpit, particularly on complex or critical path features, leveraging your expertise across.NET, C#, Blazor, SQL Server, and Azure services.
- Champion and rigorously enforce best-in-class coding standards, comprehensive testing strategies (unit, integration, E2E), and efficient DevOps practices across all aspects of the CloudCockpit product.
- Collaborate directly and continuously with the Head of Product for CloudCockpit to understand user needs, define solutions, and translate product vision into impactful technical execution, always keeping the end-user and business outcomes in mind.
- Champion a user-centric approach within the engineering team, encouraging a deep understanding of customer problems and how our technical solutions address them.
- Proactively contribute to product ideation and refinement by offering technical perspectives on feasibility, potential, and user impact.
- Oversee and take ultimate technical ownership for the CloudCockpit team's deliverables, ensuring consistently high standards of quality, performance, and reliability for our global user base.
- Proactively identify, troubleshoot, and definitively resolve complex technical challenges impacting CloudCockpit's stability, performance, or user experience.
- Strategically leverage the full suite of Microsoft Azure services (e.g., Azure App Service, Azure SQL Database, Azure Functions, Azure DevOps) to build, deploy, and manage our globally scaling CloudCockpit solution.
- Drive the technical execution of the CloudCockpit product roadmap, ensuring timely delivery of features while maintaining a high bar for engineering quality.

**Job qualifications**

**Experience**:

- 5+ years of professional software development experience with a strong focus on the Microsoft stack (.NET, C#).
- 2+ years of experience in a technical leadership role (Tech Lead, Senior Engineer with lead responsibilities, or similar), guiding and mentoring engineering teams.
- Proven experience designing and delivering complex, scalable, and reliable software solutions, ideally in a SaaS environment.

**Technical Skills**:

- Expertise in.NET and C#.
- Experience with SQL Server (design, optimization, querying).
- Knowledge of frontend development.
- Solid understanding and hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure cloud services (e.g., App Services, Azure SQL, Functions, Azure DevOps).
- Experience with Power BI development or integration is a plus.
- Familiarity with Domain driven design, and modern software design patterns.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
