Finance & Operations Analyst - Venture Capital

**Description**:
**Banco de Investimento Global (BiG)** is a specialized investment bank headquartered in Lisbon. BiG operates in Portugal, Spain and Mozambique and provides a dynamic, challenging, team-orientated and meritocratic work environment.

We are looking for a **Finance & Operations Analyst **to join our Venture Capital team, helping with fund operations and financial reporting. This role is focused on operational and financial management of the fund, not on investment, making it ideal for someone who enjoys processes, analysis, and organization.

**Main responsibilities**:

- **Financial reporting**: facilitate communication between the investment team, portfolio companies, and reporting and accounting teams.
- **Operations management**: ensure the management of operational processes, guaranteeing that the fund operates efficiently and in compliance with all regulatory requirements.
- **Process administration**: work on liquidity management, due diligences (KYC, AML), and ensure that all documentation and processes are carried out smoothly.
- **Community and platform support**: support the teams in communication with relevant stakeholders and managing our community.
- **Data from deals analysis**: Supporting on cleaning data from deals and create valuable insights for future data driven decision making.

**Requirements**:
**Minimum requirements**:

- 1 to 2 years of experience in financial reporting or operations management (preferable but not mandatory);
- Strong analytical skills and good knowledge of Excel;
- Background in finance;
- Excellent analysis and organizational skills;
- Ability to manage and organize information from different sources and solve problems efficiently.

- Someone who enjoys getting involved in operational details, ensuring processes are well executed and information is accurate.
- Focus on execution, valuing quality and consistency in data and processes.
- Enjoys organization, optimizing processes, and solving administrative challenges.
- Preference for a dynamic Venture Capital environment, where individual responsibility and proactivity are essential.
