Talent Acquisition Lead
Carrier Commercial Refrigeration
Location: Lisbon, Portugal
We are hiring for a Talent Acquisition Lead position for our Carrier Commercial Refrigeration organization, a global player in the refrigeration cold chain segment, today a segment of Carrier corporation.
Scope of role
- The TA Manager will work in partnership with the HR Team to ensure best in class TA service delivery
- Works across the region to ensure process and KPI/SLA harmonisation are achieved and develops and delivers a regional TA scorecard
- Project Manage CCR chosen Agency solution across region spanning discovery, change, comms, deployment etc
- Owns global process, policy, and compliance related projects to ensure critical requirements are met
- Monitor internal and external trends, best practices, compliance & regulations whilst unifying processes, best practices, and SLAs across the region
- Identifies potential risks and owns delivery of mitigating/ resolving actions for process or compliance issues
- Works in close partnership with the Tech lead to understand impact on configuration, adherence to data privacy etc.
- In partnership with the HRBP Leadership team, manage and develop multiple and complex attraction strategies in specialist sector for ongoing resourcing needs, individual vacancies, and projects.
- Partners with HRBP Leaders and the Business to ensure business strategy is shaping the operational TA agenda
- Fosters a culture of continuous improvements and efficiency enhancements by partnering with the HR Community as well as the internal customers / managers etc.
- Acts as operational excellence champion by driving continuous strategic approach across regional TA group promoting the right behaviours per the Gartner TA Advisor model or similar.
- Subject to hiring volumes ensures best fit organizational design and delivery model of Talent Acquisition services, to deliver the best customer experience
- Leading or contributing to Talent Acquisition projects or improvement initiatives e.g. Diversity & Inclusion projects, Hiring Managers upskilling, etc
- Create, implement, and develop new Talent Acquisition methodologies/initiatives as and when required to satisfy specific Business & Talent Acquisition requirements in partnership with TA leadership, TA Tech and TA Managers as appropriate.
- Leads on Agency invoicing across the region with the tactical support the TA team members
- Support Regional Talent & Development Director and the Global HR Director to
- Deliver overall strategy for Talent Acquisition activities. Develop and implement a comprehensive organization-wide talent acquisition strategy to meet our growing business demands.
- Contribute and support company initiatives implementation in EMEA, ASIA and NA regions to ensure consistency of programs and experience across CCR organization.
Experience
- 5+ Relevant in-house/RPO client facing TA experience gained in large complex organisation(s) with multiple stakeholders (including matrix relationships)
- Good overall understanding of what best in class TA infrastructure looks like spanning people, tech, and process
- Prior experience using an ATS, preferably Workday or similar
- Excellent communicator both oral & written
- This role is highly relationship-driven and requires a responsive and professional partner with a proven track record of building successful stakeholder relationships. You can guide stakeholders through complex situations and drive successful outcomes whilst effectively managing expectations.
- Relevant jurisdictional employment law, regulations and policy affecting TA and assessment
- Experience of successfully delivering against a TA strategy that delivers positive business results
- Team management experience, able to motivate and develop a forward-thinking team
- Able to make recommendations for effective assessment and recruitment techniques/approaches based on business need
- Ability to build strong, trusted relationships across TA, HR and across the business
- Is ready and able to take the initiative, originate action and be responsible for the consequences of the decisions made
- Communicates challenges and influences a variety of stakeholders effectively. Ability to present sound and well-reasoned arguments to convince others. Can draw from a range of strategies to persuade people in a way that results in agreement or behaviour change
- Adapts and works effectively with a variety of situations, individuals, or groups. Can understand and appreciate different and opposing perspectives on an issue, to adapt an approach as the requirements of a situation change
- Experience of developing and delivering TA scorecards with the ability to think analytically to identify bottlenecks/trends/opportunities
- Functional knowledge of MS office
