Pricing and Proposition Analyst

We are looking for a pricing and proposition analyst to help us gain a deeper understanding of how we price and package our products. You’ll play a key role in defining our pricing and proposition strategy with the aim of helping us achieve our growth targets.

You’ll work closely with the wider marketing team and collaborate with colleagues in other business functions including sales, partners, product, customer experience, data, engineering and finance. You’ll report directly to the director of marketing intelligence and MarTech.

**Your new adventure**:

- Gather data from a range of sources to gain insights into pricing and proposition strategies and market trends
- Monitor competitor pricing and proposition
- Forecast revenue and market share based on market trends, costs, profit margins and sales volumes
- Collaborate with various business functions including marketing, sales, partners, product, customer experience, data, engineering and finance on developing competitive pricing and packaging strategies
- Present your findings and recommendations to business leaders to help them make smarter decisions

**Does this sound like you?**:

- 4+ years working as a data analyst with expertise in pricing and proposition analysis
- In-depth knowledge of statistical modelling and data analysis with a sound understanding of quantitative and qualitative data analysis methods
- Experience writing database queries using SQL. Experience with Python or R is a plus
- Ability to explain the insights behind the data to a broad audience and to convey key points in simple terms to peers and stakeholders
- Comfortable working in a team of data specialists and collaborating effectively with other teams such as marketing, sales, partners, product, customer experience, data, engineering and finance
- Clear understanding of how your analysis adds value and enables decision-makers to improve business performance
- Ability to quickly build relationships with internal teams
- Ability to present compelling cases to senior leaders in the business
- Comfortable with SQL and proficient in producing dashboards in business intelligence tools (such as Tableau)
- An interpersonal style that elicits trust, open-mindedness and cooperation
- Experience of or empathy towards operating in a high-growth, PE-backed environment
